Live Music at Lopdell Precinct

  • Lopdell Precinct 418 Titirangi Road Auckland, Auckland, 0604 New Zealand (map)

In association with Open Studios Waitakere and Lopdell Precinct invite you to an afternoon of music in the Theatre functions room. This FREE music event is hosted by John Goudge.

The line up includes:

12:30pm - SugarMouse

SugarMouse is an acoustic duo, consisting of Renie Downes (vocals and percussion) and Keith Shore (guitar and backing vocals). Performing an eclectic mix of jazz, pop and classics, this Titirangi-based duo takes originals and infuses them with their own SugarMouse flavour.

1:30pm - Jan Elliott

Jan’s songs include compelling lyrics, with a mix of light hearted and tragic story telling. Jan is a seasoned performer and winner of The CTV (Canterbury Television) Talent Quest. Her polished guitar work and classy vocals have been well received at festivals and venues throughout New Zealand and abroad.

“Jan performed an achingly beautiful set accompanying herself with gorgeous finger style guitar melodies”… Canterbury Wine and Food Festival.

2:30pm - Otis Mace

Best known as Otis Mace – Guitar Ace, for his solo ventures, Otis has a long national and international music career spanning four decades, with numerous recording & touring credits to his name.

Otis’s off-beat high energy shows have a touch of parody, and a touch of protest, as this singer-poet takes the stage with his anarchic tenderness.

3:30pm - Zimbini

Zimbini is a West Auckland couple who bring their own smooth style to a range of blues, jazz and pop songs. With guitar and voice, they perform at concert nights and private functions around Auckland. Last month they presented a successful fund raising show for KidsCan, the child poverty charity.
