MCCAHON HOUSE RESIDENCY STUDIO
McCahon House Artists’ Residency is amongst the most prestigious artists’ residencies in New Zealand. Three residencies a year, each of three months duration, are available to outstanding mid-career artists. The current artist in residence is Nicola Farquhar. Nicola graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts MFA program in 2009. Currently her art practice examines what it is to be human in a time of ecological crisis, in particularly the historical and contemporary representations of woman in art.
