Inside the Studio with Jago Neal

Meet Jago Neal, a multidisciplinary artist, illustrator and photographer based in West Auckland.

From photography and traditional darkroom techniques to painting, drawing and collage, Jago's work explores the relationship between observation, imagination and the natural world.

Alongside his own creative practice, Jago is the Manager of Kumeū Arts, where he plays an active role in supporting and connecting the local arts community.

We caught up with Jago to hear more about his creative journey, the inspiration behind his work and life as an artist in West Auckland.
