Karen Jarvis is a painter and photographer whose work explores memory and everyday experiences. Her figurative oil paintings draw on photographs, both found and personal, exploring narrative, form and colour. She enjoys experimenting with her camera and combining painting with photography to create digital composites.
There will be paintings and framed photos for sale, as well as prints and her two art books, reFRAMED and Lost and Found. Karen will also be showing examples of her Photobook Memoirs – bespoke books that combine contemporary portrait photography with family photographs, memories and stories.
