Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School Open Studio welcomes visitors into the living practice of our school, where students’ work reveals the Waldorf/Steiner curriculum shaped through painting, drawing, clay, sculpture, fibre and handwork craft. From learning to knit and paint when they first start school to exploring colour and form and finding their own artistic voice in the upper years, each gesture of making becomes a schooling of head, hands and heart.
Here, arts and crafts are woven through the curriculum, forming the pathways through which learning takes shape. The joy of creating awakens the will; imagination becomes a living force; thinking grows inwardly mobile. This is the daily practice of our school—an education where making, doing and creating are not extras but foundations for human development.
The work of young hands shows how Waldorf/Steiner schooling nurtures students who meet the world with creativity, courage and a living sense for beauty. It is a space that honours childhood and strengthens the inner life, supporting each student to grow capable, centred and purposeful.
