Crone Jewellery

Ten years ago and after a career in the public and voluntary sectors Judi realised a longstanding wish and began learning the techniques of jewellery making. She is influenced and inspired by the beauty of nature around us in Waitākere and the intricate design of natural materials - bone, horn, feathers, leaves etc. Judi uses mainly silver, copper, perspex, wood, horn, bone and occasional found objects. Over the last two years she have begun to add bone carving into my jewellery. She aims for my work to be a little intriguing but wearable. Judi works essentially for her own pleasure but is delighted when others like her creations. She is happy that she has sold through several retail and gallery outlets.
