Edward has been designing and making fine furniture for over 40 years. Working primarily in native and exotic wood to create furniture and household objects. Drawing from the traditions of the modern designer craftsman through the use of traditional construction methods and modern materials. Edwards creative process aims to explore ways to express an essence of NZ in some of his themes. His years of teaching experience and have explored many forms of woodworking from green woodwork through turning, marquetry to fine furniture making.
