Peter Force from his Titirangi Studio

For Peter Force, storytelling has always been at the heart of his creative practice.

From an award-winning career in advertising and scriptwriting to his work as a full-time visual artist, Peter has spent his life exploring ways to tell stories through images.

Working primarily in oils, his paintings are influenced by the Bay Area Figurative Art movement of the 1950s. He uses the human form as a starting point for expressive, emotive compositions that explore much more than the figure itself.

Conan visits Peter to discover more about his creative journey and approach to painting.
