Stories from the Studio | Awaroa Rd Jewellery
Working with titanium, niobium, natural stones and vintage gemstone beads, Maria creates distinctive, one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate the character of her materials. Her practice has evolved to include lapidary, the art of cutting and shaping stone, using equipment designed and built by her husband. It's a fascinating process that allows Maria to work with each stone from its raw form through to the finished piece.
